Arlene is the primary point of contact for students, preceptors, coordinators, and facilitators involved in elective and service learning experiences. She oversees PHAR 189 Service Learning, PHAR 388 Professional Practice Projects, and PHAR 483 and PHAR 484 elective Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPEs). Arlene also leads recruitment and scheduling logistics for the EL Office.
Mel is the primary point of contact for students and preceptors in hospital and health-systems settings. She facilitates PHAR 288 Immersions and oversees PHAR 285 Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPEs), PHAR 481 Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPEs), and hospital-based PHAR 483/484 elective APPEs.
Saara is the primary point of contact for students and preceptors in community pharmacy settings. She facilitates and coordinates PHAR 188 Immersions and oversees PHAR 185 Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPEs) and PHAR 482 Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPEs).
Taylor provides strategic and operational leadership for the PharmD Experiential Learning (EL) Program, including overseeing EL curriculum, assessment and evaluation of students, preceptor training and development, quality assurance, and innovation.
