This award supports one Indigenous USask pharmacy student to attend Professional Development Week annually, a student conference aimed at providing the student recipient opportunities to gain valuable knowledge, network with peers and experts, and share their unique perspectives on Indigenous culture, heritage, and contemporary issues.

The College of Pharmacy and Nutrition is pleased to announce that PhD student Saniya Alwani has been awarded an Alexander Graham Bell Canada Graduate Scholarship-Doctoral to undertake her research project, Engineering amino acid functionalized nanodiamonds for gene delivery, under the supervision of Dr. Ildiko Badea.
